Matthew and Richard went on their first Indian Guides Campout last weekend. They are a part of a group of dads and sons that meet once a month and go on two campouts each year. All the kids have been looking forward to this trip for months! They went to Oklahoma for the weekend and had such a great time. Matthew and his best buddy slept in bunk beds beside each other...I don't know how much sleeping they did because he was tired when he got home! While they were there they went horseback riding, shot BB guns, shot bow and arrows, watched rockets blast off, had a secret message trail and just had fun being boys and getting muddy! They stayed in cabins and had several acres to run around on. The dads were in charge of cooking all the meals and had bonfires with smores for the kids each night. Both Richard and Matthew said it was a great weekend and can't wait to go on the next campout.
