Christmas 2010 in Arkansas!

After a fun month of celebrating the holidays in Texas, we headed to Arkansas on December 22. We wrote a special letter to Santa and asked him to come visit us after we got back to Texas on December 28. While in Arkansas we got to see everyone and had a wonderful time enjoying this special time of the year with the ones we love! We spent the first few days at Nana and Papa Doc's house playing with our cousins and celebrating Christmas with Nana, Papa Doc, Tim, Kara and the boys. The kids had fun sleeping together and spending every second of their play time together! Nana cooked several delicious meals while we were there...I don't know how she does it! We had stew, cornbread, a traditional Christmas dinner, Pioneer Woman cinnamon rolls and lots of fabulous desserts!

Hmmm....they look like trouble!

This is a tradition...every year we have to have a staircase picture before we go open presents!

Molly loved her snow white outfit!

Fun times!

Worn out after all that unwrapping!

Yes, there are lots of good helpers around!

The kids got a snow board from Nana and Papa Doc. Since we didn't have snow, we decided to pull it behind the mule. Didn't work out too well...but it was funny!

Papa even tried!

Go Matthew!
On Christmas Day we celebrated with the Williams crew for lunch and then headed to the McDills for dinner. Papaw Curtis was surprised when he received a white lab from Ashely. Matthew and Molly were entertained for the rest of the afternoon with that gift! We had more delicious food and lots of time to visit.

Papaw meeting "Snow" or "Sam"...not sure which name stuck!

The girls out playing in the front yard...it was COLD!

Christmas night was spent at the McDills opening presents and eating deer steak! I never thought I would say this, but I love Mamaw Shelia's deer steaks! This was a treat and was topped off with chocolate pie. Yes, the holidays added a few pounds to all of us! We had a great time and the kids wore Papaw Guy out! He played several games of "hide and seek" and baseball. Great memories to cherish!

The next night we met Nana, Papa Doc and Kara and the boys at Garvin Gardens to enjoy the lights. It was beautiful and the kids got to run off alot of energy!
