Molly's Doing Good...

Well, Miss Molly had a minor surgery this morning to get tubes put in both ears. She has had 7 ear infections over the past 10 months, so the ENT thought it was time to help our poor little girl out! We went to the ENT for the first time yesterday. He was wonderful and Molly did great for him. When we went to schedule her surgery they told us they had an opening today, so we took it! It all happened so fast, but I am glad it is behind us now. Sweet Molly did well this morning. We had to leave the house at 5:00 am and be there at 5:30 am for all the paperwork and vitals. Molly definitely sensed that something was going on and cried quite a bit before they gave her some medicine to relax her (wish I could get a prescription for that!). She left with the nurse around 6:40 am and the doctor was in the consulation room with me at 6:48 am. Why didn't I go to school to be an ENT? :0) She has had a bit of a fussy day, but she is feeling better. Here is a photo of our cutie in her PJ's and bear houseshoes...she looked mighty cute for surgery! We also had to take "baby" to surgery with us.

Feeling pretty good...

That feeling is gone...

Hey! So glad to see your blog. We haven't had trouble with the drops could be b/c we were putting the numbing drops in for so log she is used to the drill. Our main problem is that she is sick again. so much for thinking the tubes would keep her well for a while. she hasn't been sleeping and her nose is POURING. i feel like i have a newborn again. Hope Molly is doing well. Kinda crazy they had it around the same time. Sorry for the novel.

Oh my goodness, she looks so sweet in those jammies and slippers with her baby! I am sorry that she had to go through all of those ear infections and then surgery for the tubes. I pray that they will give her some relief. Hope y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thanks so much, Jen, for all the encouragement and prayers over the past several weeks (not to mention the past year or so). We are so glad to have our boy home!! Love you, Ab
