Well, after writing Santa a special letter, Santa agreed to come to our house early since we were going to be in Arkansas on Christmas Day. Our Christmas Eve started off with lots of asking "when is Santa going to be here?". Matthew informed us that it was the longest day ever. After all the waiting, it was finally dark outside and time to sprinkle reindeer food on the front lawn so that Santa's reindeer would be able to find our house. Matthew had fun spreading it EVERYWHERE and our lawn was covered with oats and glitter! After that, we had a picnic in the living room and ate pizza and watched "The Flight Before Christmas". Matthew helped make cookies for Santa and made a plate of carrots for the reindeer. We finished celebrating Christmas Eve by reading the Christmas story and tucking our little ones into bed to await Santa's arrival! The next morning we were all up and in the living room by 7:15. Matthew and Molly had a great time. Molly loved the pack and play for her doll...we caught her sitting in it several times. Matthew was in awe of everything, but his favorite seemed to be his matchbox car "Ice Mountain". It was so much fun seeing the kids' excitement and enjoying our special time together. We are so blessed and thankful for all we have been blessed with. We are especially thankful for Jesus and the true reason for the season.
