Nate's Birthday!

A few weeks ago the kids and I went to Arkansas for Nate's 7th birthday! I truly can't believe he is 7 years old now. He is such a special boy and we had such a great time celebrating with him. When we arrived in Arkansas we had a yummy dinner waiting on us at Nana and Papa Doc's house. After lots of fun riding all the toys and swinging, Papa Doc took Matthew to Atwoods and the girls stayed at Nana's to play. When it came to bedtime that night...Miss Molly wore me out! We now know that she can climb out of the pack and play, climb over child gates, and get Nana's sliding doors open. After several hours of trying out different sleep options (including sleeping with her brother as a last resort...) she finally went to sleep. Luckily, the other two nights went much better! Nate's party was on Friday afternoon at his house. There were seventeen boys and three girls at this camping party. Lots of muddy shoes, wet river pants, wrestling, football, tractor riding and playing chase was going on. It was the "ultimate" boy party...those boys had a blast. Molly held her own and enjoyed riding up front with Uncle Tim for all the tractor rides. It was lots of fun! We spent two nights with the Oosterhous crew and made some great memories. The boys stayed outside most of the weekend with Uncle Tim and even tried to go fishing...but they got rained on. We were thankful we had great weather for the party. Molly and Ben played great together and we just had a fun time being together. Thanks everyone for such a fun-filled weekend!

This pictures says it all...four tired little boys!
