Go Wolves!

A few weeks ago, Richard went home to Arkansas for the funeral of one of his best friends, Adam Brown. Adam was a Navy Seal and one of the toughest guys you would ever meet. Adam was also a great Christian man that had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He left behind a beautiful wife and two young children. There were hundreds of people that came from all over to show their support and love for Adam - what a testament to him and his character. While there, Richard reconnected with lots of old friends and met Adam's Seal buddies. I think it was good for all of them to be together and celebrate Adam's life and cope with this great loss together. With that said, let me tell you...Adam loved Arkansas and had so much pride in where he came from. He loved the Lake Hamilton Wolves and often ended his e-mails to Richard with "LH pride!". The Navy Seals were given a Lake Hamilton football helment to take back and keep on base in honor of Adam. Richard also brought one home and gave it to Matthew. Matthew has slept with it every night and often comes out of his room in the morning wearing it. One day I am sure Richard will share stories about Adam with Matthew and what kind of man he was. I hope that he will realize what an honor it is to have men like Adam serving our country. LH Pride!
