Adam Brown Shamrock Run

One of Richard's best friends from high school, Adam Brown, was killed a year ago in Afghanastan. It has been such a tough year for everyone, especially his sweet family. It is amazing to me how many lives Adam has touched. There have been countless events held in his honor and his friends and family have kept his spirit alive. We are so proud of the sacrifice he made for our country...and he will forever be missed. A 5K was held in his honor at Lake Hamilton two weeks ago. The Adam Brown Shamrock Run will be an annual event, honoring a true hero. There were over 260 people that registered and many more showed up to support the cause. Balloons were released and Adam's father spoke. It was a great weekend to reconnect with old friends and support the Brown family. Here are some pictures from the run!
