Battle at the Blue Star!

Last night we went to see Matthew's school football team play at Cowboys Stadium. They won state last year, so this was a "Battle at the Blue Star" against the team they beat in the state championship. This was a big deal and all Matthew talked about this week. He couldn't wait to go see them play and cheer on the Lions! We all went and had a great time. We sat with our friends, the Fosters. Their nephew was the star quarterback, so that made it even more fun. Matthew had fun going out on the field after half time to make a tunnel for the football players. The Lions won by quite a bit...so we had lots of fun screaming every time they scored! Made me miss cheering at football games and probably made Richard miss playing. Oh well...we are old now, so we will just have to enjoy watching all those "young kids" play!

Had to get a picture of the field...it was already painted for the Arkansas vs. Texas A&M game on Saturday. So cool!

Matthew was somewhere out there cheering on the lions as they ran through!
