Happy 3rd Birthday Molly!

Molly's actual birthday was this past Saturday on October 16. We had celebrated Molly's birthday with family in Arkansas about a month ago. Poor Molly has to be a bit confused because now we celebrated her "real" birthday here in Texas and she can officially say she is three! Matthew and Richard were gone on their Indian Guide (father/son) campout, so Molly and I had a special girls weekend to celebrate! We had a fun-filled Friday night at the mall, which included Mexican food, playing in the play area and a cookie! When Molly woke up on Saturday we started her birthday off with donuts and candles. She was most excited about the candles! We took it easy that morning at home and then went to a small pumpkin patch near by. Molly had fun sporting her Halloween tutu, which wasn't the best idea for a pumpkin patch. We left with lots of hay in our tutu! After that we went home to rest up for our big night. We invited Molly's best friend, her sister and mom to go with us to American Girl to have dinner at the bistro there at the store. Molly was most excited about getting to take her bitty baby doll with her to dinner. The girls were so excited when we got there. We were seated and there were special highchairs beside each girls seat for her baby. After they took our orders they brought the babies a teacup and saucer. Molly had fun helping her baby drink. It was such a fun, "girly" experience...definitely something good for a girls weekend! This topped off a perfect day with my little princess! We missed daddy and bubby, so we saved the cake and presents for when they got home on Sunday. They were glad we saved some celebrating for them too!

Happy birthday sweet Molly! You have brought so much joy into our lives. We thank God for you every day. You are full of life and truly live each moment to the fullest! Your laugh is infectious and you have such an outgoing personality. It will be so much fun watching you grow and learn. Right now your favorite thing to play with is your babies. You love to feed them, dress them and take care of them. Yesterday I heard you "reading" them stories at naptime and tonight you were "tucking them in early because they didn't take a nap"...hmmm...wonder where you heard that today? You love your brother to pieces and love to play "kiss-kiss" and "alligators" with him. You are taking swim lessons and gymnastics each week and look forward to flipping on the bar. You really aren't afraid of much, so this sport seems to fit you quite well! You are in school two days a week and love your teachers. It warms mommy's heart to hear such sweet things from your teachers each week...they really seem to adore you. Each day when I pick you up you are loving on Ms. Michelle or sitting in Ms. Carmen's lap. You are so proud of all the work you bring home because you are a big girl and go to school just like bubby! Your favorite foods are grilled cheese, strawberries and anything chocolate! You sing lots of songs, but my favorites have to be "Alice the camel has two 'hunks' (humps)" and "I may never march in the 'calorie' (calvary)"...makes me laugh every time. You give the best hugs and use both hands to turn our face to yours when you want us to listen. Never change Molly girl...keep that sweet, fun-loving spirit and that precious smile! You are truly a blessing! Happy 3rd birthday!
