Thanksgiving in Arkansas

Thanksgiving is truly one of my favorite holidays...I look forward to it every year. All of the focus is on family and spending time with one another. The only way it would be better is if we got to see all of our loved ones! We spent the holiday in Arkansas at Nana and Papa Doc's house. The first order of business was to get Nana and Papa Doc's Christmas card picture. The kids did great and we got some good ones down at the train track...fun times! Mar-Mar and Jim arrived Wednesday night and we had tons of fun with them. Matthew, Molly and Kara's boys just love them! Matthew was thrilled to get to go back to Aunt Kara's house to spend the night...that was the highlight of his trip! On Thanksgiving day we enjoyed wonderful food, good conversation and lots of laughter. We are so blessed and Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to reflect on that. While we were home we also got to see my best friend, Melissa, and her boys. It was so good to see her and let the kids run around together. I am so thankful for my family and all of the wonderful friendships I have. Happy Thanksgiving!
