The boys have been looking forward to their first World Series Tournament! Well, I think we had the most rain we have ever had the week the tournament was scheduled! Papaw Curtis came to Texas to watch Matthew play and didn't get to see one single game because of all the rainouts! We started off the tournament week with a fun team breakfast at Deliman and then headed to the fields for Opening Day festivities and all of our pin trading. Our first two scheduled games were for Sunday and Monday and both days were rained out. We were actually rained out until Wednesday and finally got to finish the rest of our 6 games that weekend. AAYBA was a great week and we went 4-2. That wrapped up our Spring 2014 baseball season. We had a great season, with a record of 36 wins and 18 losses. So proud of our boys and all the fabulous coaches we have that give so much of their time, energy and talent into shaping these boys, not only in to good ball players, but great young men. Love those Cowboys!
