Molly was officially 15 months old on January 16...so I am a little behind in celebrating our sweet angel's milestone! I tried to get some pictures of her sitting in her chair for her official 15 month picture...but it just didn't work out! (Dayle, how in the world do you get Karoline to sit still in the chair and smile?) Here are a few cute pictures of my sweet girl! We had her 15 month checkup and everything went well, except for the fact that she cried from the minute they put her on the scale until after the doctor was done with her checkup. Our sweet doctor said this was normal and that this is a peak time for stranger anxiety and separation anxiety. She has actually been quite scared at any doctors visit since she got her tubes. Poor thing. At least she was happy once she was sitting in my lap and the exam was over. She kept opening her mouth and saying "ah" with a big smile...this was all after the the doctor was done! She weighed 20 lbs. 12 ounces and was in the 20th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for height. She is doing so many things right now. I know this might get long-winded, but I am using this blog as my "journal" to keep track of all of her milestones! She is pretty much walking all of the time, but is still a little unsteady on her feet. She definitely prefers to be checking things out on her own as opposed to mommy carrying her or riding in the stroller. She is talking up a storm and loves to ask for a "bow" for her hair. She eats mostly table food, except for veggies. She just plays with the vegetables on her plate but won't eat them...so I am still giving her baby food veggies because she eats those like a champ! Her favorite foods are pancakes, cookies (no, not the full sugar kind...the somewhat healthy baby kind!), dried apples, and veggie wheels. She is not a fan of milk yet, but I am guessing that might come when the last two bottles are weaned away. Unfortunately, she doesn't like her sippy cup, so at this point she only drinks her morning bottle and her night bottle and is perfectly happy not to have anything else the rest of the day. Ugh! She loves her big brother to pieces and wants to be wherever he is. Usually this is okay with Matthew until she starts playing with the toys he is playing with. She truly adores him...in the mornings she will go looking for him to give him a big hug. This thrills Matthew to death! She loves his stuffed puppies and all of her babies and will dance any time there is music on. She likes reading books, playing in the balls outside, and climbing on anything she can! She gives the best kisses and still tucks her little arms in between yours when she is loving on you...one of my favorite things she does! She is still very much a daddy's girl, but I think her mommy is a close second! She can point to her eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, hair, head, ears, knees, toes, feet, hands, tummy and hiney. She also knows that a cow says "moo" and a dog says "ruff". As I have said before, she is truly a blessing and we are having so much fun with our sweet Molly! Happy 15 months, Molly!
