This past weekend we decided to go on one last getaway before Matthew starts Kindergarten. We decided to go to Marble Falls here in Texas. We have been the past several years and always have a great time. On the way to Marble Falls we stopped at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. While at Fossil Rim you drive through the preserve on their 9.5 mile scenic drive, observing exotic and endangered animals and feeding them along the way. The kids loved this stop last year and have been begging to go back! We fed some of the animals out of our hands and even had a few stick their heads in the car! This is definitely worth the stop if you are ever anywhere near Glenrose, Texas!
After Fossil Rim, we finished driving to Marble Falls. I guess I was really on "vacation" because I only took pictures when the kids went on the banana boat ride. Molly was so excited to be able to ride on the banana boat just like bubby...
...until she got thrown off!
