Molly's 5th Birthday

My sweet Molly girl turned five on October 16!  We started off the day with blueberry muffins and her first wish of the day.  She was so excited to get ready for school because she knew she would be celebrating all day long!  Ms. Gina made her feel so special at school.  She took princess and pirate cupcakes to school and got to wear a birthday crown and a big "5" around her neck all day long.  What more can a girl ask for?  After school we picked Matthew up and headed to our new park for some play time.  The kids had fun and were ready to head home for Molly's dinner pick...pancakes, bacon and eggs.  Dinner was early so we could celebrate before Matthew and daddy headed to the ball fields.  Molly was thrilled with the "Stompeez" Matthew gave her and a few other gifts from mom and dad.  However, the big talk of this birthday was...a new big girl room!  Molly has been in a toddler bed since she was two.  Finally, she was getting a big girl bed, new bedding and a newly painted room...all a surprise!  I must say, it was hard keeping a curious five year old out of the room while we were getting it ready for her.  I kept praying she would like the pink room!  Matthew led her down the hall while covering her eyes.  Thank goodness...she LOVED her room!  It definitely fits her personality.  Molly loves girly things, but also loves hanging with her big brother and chasing bugs.  I think the animal bedding and pink walls fit her perfectly!

Birthday breakfast...blueberry muffins!

Birthday kisses from daddy!

All dressed for school.  Look at this cute 5 year old!

Molly,
You are so precious and such a gift from God.  We are blessed to have you in our lives and can't wait to celebrate many more birthdays with you!  You bring so much joy and fun into our lives.  I pray you always keep that special spark...you truly light up a room.  We love you!
