That's right, folks...snow tubing in Texas! This week the kids and I went to the Gaylord to see all the decorations, visit Santa and go snow tubing! We decided to go during the week so we wouldn't have to fight the crowds...but that also meant daddy didn't get to go because he was at work (maybe next year we'll brave the crowds). We had a great time. The kids visited Santa first and made sure he knew what was on their list. Afterwards we headed to the Kung Fu Panda Snow Tubing Hill! This was a highlight of our Christmas last year, so it was at the top of the request list of "must do's" this year! The kids each got to go down the tubing hill ten times. They had so much fun and it just made it feel like Christmas (especially since it was 78 degrees outside). We walked around afterwards and looked at the trains and gingerbread houses. They do an amazing job decorating this hotel! We are now officially on the countdown to Christmas! Remember...Santa stops at our house early (Dec. 23) so we can head to Arkansas to spend time with our families. Merry Christmas!
