Christmas in Texas

  • Nana came back with us to Texas and we had our family Christmas on January 2.  Once we left for Arkansas on December 24 and told the kids Santa would come late, they never once asked when he would come. They were amazing and so great through such a difficult week.

On our "Christmas Eve" we put reindeer food outside and made a plate of cookies for Santa and a plate of carrots for the reindeer.  Nana helped us get everything ready.

The next morning we woke up and had two excited kids!

Molly was thrilled to get an Ugly Snuggly and a battery powered dirt bike!  Matthew was thrilled with the hooverboard!

Molly's three gifts from Santa (Ugly Snuggly, dirt bike, tent)

Matthew's three gifts from Santa (Hooverboard, Xbox game, tent)

They were super excited about a seasons pass to Six Flags...

...and even more excited about Dallas Cowboys tickets!

We loved having Nana there with us and it was nice to see the excitement from the kids and smile some again.
