At the end of All Star Season, we had to say goodbye to a super sweet family, The Mazons. Johnny took a job in Aledo as the head pastor at a church. This family has been such an integral part of our baseball program and will definitely be missed. Trace is a great ballplayer and just an all-around good kid! Johnny was the type of coach that was always encouraging and motivating his players in a positive way. I know the boys and families are all better for having known this family. They are a true testament of what a Godly family should be! Wishing them the best in Aledo. Maybe we will see them on the opposite side of the field sometime soon! Here are some pictures from the "farewell" swim party. Johnny got each of the players a small baseball bat with their name, number and All Stars 2013 engraved on it. What a thoughtful gift!
